Our Post: Photos of the interior and exterior of the post home and grounds. We're very proud of our post. A lot of people have spent a lot of time and money getting to where it is today. We offer a clean, smoke free environment where you and yours can come and relax. There is an indoor smoking area located in the old bar area downstairs. Its on a separate ventilation system so no smoky odor in the main bar area. For more information about our post click "Our Post" on the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Troy and Lisa's Wedding: Troy and Lisa Pritchard were married at the post in April of 2006. Troy is one of our members and was on active duty at the time having just arrived back from Iraq. We we're honored that the couple asked if the could hold the ceremony at our post. Our own adjudant, Nelson Dodge, who happens to be a judge, performed the ceremony.

POW/MIA Ceremony, 2006: In April of 2006 we held our annual POW/MIA ceremony at St. Peter's Lutheran chuch in Verona, NY. The color guard was provided by the Rome VFW post. The Rome post's Ladies Auxiliary were gracious enough to help place the momentos on the POW/MIA table. Tim Crofton played his bagpipes before the ceremony and renedered a beautiful arrangement of Amazing Grace at it's close. Afterwards the attendees were invited back to the post for refreshments.

Veterans Day 2006: Veteran's Day 2006 was celebrated at the post with a flag raising and rifle ceremony. At exactly 11:00hrs. the ceremony commensed with commander Bud Dilapi  reading of the Veterans Day prayer. The rifle squad fired then the flags were raised to full staff while the National Anthem was played.
